After a notable lull in luxury hotel openings across London, 2026 is set to transform the city’s hospitality landscape with nine extraordinary new properties.
The historic Grade I-listed Admiralty Arch, commissioned by King Edward VII, will emerge as the Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch London following a six-year restoration. This five-star hotel will feature 100 rooms and suites with views of The Mall and Trafalgar Square, along with a ballroom, spa, and restaurants by acclaimed chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud.

In Bayswater, Six Senses London will debut within the restored Art Deco Whiteleys department store near Hyde Park. The hotel will also feature a cozy lobby bar and all-day dining options that promote community interaction. Bookings will begin in April 2026.
The St. Regis London marks the luxury brand’s entry into the UK market, occupying the former Westbury Mayfair hotel after a £90 million redevelopment. The project adds an eighth floor and incorporates neo-Gothic elements in its design, positioned ideally on Conduit and New Bond Street.
Auberge Collection will introduce its first London property with Cambridge House, a 102-room Mayfair hotel between Green Park and Shepherd Market.
