eurovision tour launch event

Music enthusiasts and Eurovision fans will soon have a historic opportunity to experience the magic of the Eurovision Song Contest live at London’s O2 Arena. The special event, scheduled for June 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM, marks the 70th anniversary of the beloved competition and represents the first official Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour organized by the European Broadcasting Union.

The London show will serve as the opening night of an ambitious tour spanning 10 major European cities throughout June and July 2026. Following the O2 Arena performance, the tour will continue to Hamburg’s Barclays Arena on June 17, Milan’s Arena Milano on June 19, and Zürich’s Hallenstadion on June 20, with additional dates to be announced. The tour will conclude with a grand finale at Avicii Arena in Stockholm on July 2, 2026.

The spectacular production promises to deliver the full Eurovision experience with arena-sized staging and production values. Fans can expect performances from iconic contestants spanning the competition’s seven-decade history alongside 10 competing artists from the 2026 Grand Final, which will take place in Vienna on May 16. The lineup of legendary performers will be announced in the coming weeks, with the 2026 artists confirmed after the Grand Final. The tour aims to capture the evolution of Eurovision through performances representing different eras of the contest. Attendees will be treated to surprise guest appearances throughout the evening as part of the celebration. The event will be fully accessible for all visitors, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the show.

UK-based Progress Productions will produce the tour, with James O’Brien, BAFTA winner for the 2023 contest, serving as CEO. The production team includes Executive Producer Lee Smithurst, also from the 2023 contest, while Martin Green CBE will direct this historic first tour.

Though tickets are not yet available for purchase, fans can sign up for alerts regarding the upcoming sale. A pre-sale for Eurofan account holders will begin on February 1 at 13:00 CET. This announcement follows the record-breaking ticket sales for the 2026 Vienna contest.

The tour comes after Eurovision 2025 attracted 175 million viewers worldwide. The O2 Arena event will feature both Eurovision competition entries and cover versions of fan favorites, capturing the scale, spectacle, and spirit of the contest that has captivated global audiences for decades.
