titanic exhibition closing soon

London’s fascination with maritime history will reach new heights as a major Titanic exhibition prepares to dock in the capital for an extended stay. The immersive, artifact-led exhibition titled “Titanic Exhibition: London” will be hosted at Olympia London‘s West Hall from July 25 to August 16, 2026. Organized by White Star Heritage in partnership with Olympia London, the exhibition offers visitors a thorough journey through the legendary ship’s story.

The exhibition follows a compelling narrative arc, covering the ship’s construction at Harland & Wolff shipyard, its maiden voyage, tragic sinking, and the later discovery of the wreck in the North Atlantic. Visitors can view remarkable artifacts including a rare four-page letter written onboard by William Henry Harrison, a first-class passenger who served as private secretary to J. Bruce Ismay, and one of the few surviving intact deck chairs recovered from the Atlantic shortly after the disaster. The exhibition also showcases the Aft Grand Staircase remnant, which is the largest surviving piece recovered from the wreckage.

Journey from Belfast shipyard to Atlantic depths through authentic treasures of the world’s most famous maritime tragedy.

For those who can’t wait until 2026, an alternative London experience called “The Legend of the Titanic” is currently available at Dock X in Canada Water. Located at Unit 1 Canada Water on Surrey Quays Road, this immersive show is easily accessible via a short walk from Canada Water station, with nearby bus routes including P12, 47, 188, and N199. The Surrey Quays Shopping Centre offers three hours of free parking for visitors arriving by car. This popular experience has received outstanding visitor ratings of 4.7 out of 5 stars for its emotional storytelling that resonates with all age groups.

Dock X operates Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 to 15:45, Thursday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:45, and Sundays from 9:00 to 17:00. Visitors should note the timed entry system with 15-minute slots, and the recommended visit duration is approximately 90 to 120 minutes. Limited waiting space means visitors should arrive no more than 5 minutes before their scheduled slot, as late arrivals exceeding 15 minutes risk being refused entry. The exhibition features immersive soundscapes that transport visitors back to the ambiance of the legendary ship’s journey across the Atlantic.

The 2026 exhibition at Olympia will feature early-bird pricing for bookings made before October 31, 2025, and offers flexible booking options allowing date and time changes after purchase.
