The iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour is set to make its triumphant return to the UK in 2025, marking 15 years since its first journey across British soil. The beloved festive attraction, which originated in the United States in 2001 before making its UK debut in 2010, will visit 15 locations nationwide under the theme “Refresh Your Holidays.” This milestone tour will officially be announced on November 17, 2025, in London.
Following a brief hiatus in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and a reduced schedule in 2021, the tour has steadily rebuilt its presence. Last year’s event attracted over 53,000 visitors, and organizers expect to exceed 100,000 attendees in 2025. The tour has become synonymous with the Christmas countdown for many UK families.
The 2025 journey begins in London at Elys Yard in the Truman Brewery on November 21. Other confirmed stops include Belfast’s Custom House Square on December 1, Edinburgh’s Fort Kinnard on November 30, and Gateshead’s Metro Centre, with eleven additional locations completing the nationwide schedule. This follows the pattern of previous tours, such as the 2022 journey that included stops in Bluewater, Kent, and Dublin, Ireland. The initial 2022 tour dates began on 25 November at the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent, signaling the official start of the festive season.
Visitors to the truck tour can expect several free experiences. Each attendee will receive a complimentary bottle of Coca-Cola and have opportunities for “elfie selfies.” Food will be available, and guests can personalize bottles with their names or special phrases. Photos in front of the famous illuminated truck remain a highlight for all visitors. Visitors will also enjoy participating in festive games with chances to win exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise throughout the event. The tour demonstrates Coca-Cola’s commitment to inclusivity through its partnership with the Royal Institute of Blind People for enhanced accessibility.
The tour maintains its charitable partnership with FareShare, a foodbank charity that redistributes surplus food to vulnerable people. For every visitor to the truck tour, Coca-Cola will donate one meal equivalent, with a 2025 goal of providing 1 million meals this winter.
As the truck traverses the UK, it continues its tradition of spreading festive cheer, creating cherished Christmas memories, and encouraging community gatherings during the holiday season.
