From a young theater enthusiast to an international performer, Kiara Dario has established herself as a notable triple threat in the Philippine performing arts scene. Her journey began at age 14 with her professional debut in Disney’s Camp Rock with Repertory Philippines, where she portrayed Rosie under the direction of Audie Gemora.

Prior to this breakthrough, she appeared as Girlie in A Hundred Milyon Miracles in 2009 at the Marie Eugenie Theater, where she also received the prestigious METTA Gold Award.
Dario’s career gained momentum as she took on ensemble roles in major productions. She performed in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2017) and Annie (2016) with Full House Theater Company, gradually building her reputation in Philippine theater.
Her versatility shone through in various productions, including Ang Huling El Bimbo (2018) and Flashcard Tangle (2019), where she played Melissa under Jef Flores’ direction.
The performer’s breakthrough came when she landed the title role in Repertory Philippines’ Snow White and the Prince in 2023. This milestone was followed by her international debut as Gigi Van Tranh in Miss Saigon, a role she continues to perform at the Sands Theatre in Singapore beginning August 15, 2024. Her portrayal of Gigi in Manila’s production at The Theatre in Solaire runs from March 23 until May 12, 2024, with eight weekly performances.
Before securing this international role, Dario trained in Adelaide, Australia, and represented the Philippines in the 2015 World Hip Hop Championships in California. She also demonstrated her versatility by serving as an understudy for Mrs. Potiphar in the Trumpets production of Joseph The Dreamer.
In 2025, Dario achieved another career highlight with her West End debut in The Great Gatsby, marking her first appearance on London’s prestigious theater district.
Beyond acting, she is a founding member of pop girl group DAYDREAM, where she serves as lead vocalist and co-writer for their single “Make Me Better” (2023) under Underdog Music. She debuted with DAYDREAM through their first single “Fallin 4 U” released on April 30, 2021.
Dario’s extensive training through Repertory Philippines, Marie Eugenie Theatre, and UP Diliman Theatre Arts Department, combined with ongoing vocal training with Caisa Borromeo since 2020, has established her as a well-rounded performer who continues to expand her artistic horizons across theater, music, and dance.
