expanded photography fair program

The 11th edition of Photo London, the UK’s leading photography fair, is set to take place from May 14th to 17th, 2026, at the newly redeveloped Olympia exhibition centre in Kensington. This significant relocation from Somerset House aims to provide a more unified and flexible exhibition experience for participating galleries and attendees.

The change of venue to Olympia is expected to enhance the overall atmosphere of the fair, making it an exciting event for both seasoned professionals and newcomers.

Photo London returns with a strong global roster of exhibitors. Notable participating galleries will include renowned names such as HackelBury Fine Art, alongside newcomers like Photo Ink, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

This diverse mix of established and emerging galleries will showcase a wide range of photographic art, appealing to various tastes and interests. The fair will introduce expanded sections designed to highlight different aspects of photography.

One such section is the Discovery section, curated by Charlotte Jansen, which will spotlight emerging photographers. This initiative aims to provide a platform for new talent, giving them visibility in a competitive industry.

Additionally, the Positions section will focus on artists who do not currently have gallery representation, offering them a chance to exhibit their work and gain recognition.

A special exhibition will also be dedicated to the iconic fashion photographer Steven Meisel. This exhibition will highlight his early portraits of significant London fashion figures, showcasing his influential role in the fashion photography world.

Through this diverse programming, Photo London aims to reflect significant cultural developments in the photography landscape.
