When did breakfast become worthy of a Michelin star? London’s dining scene is about to find out as Pavyllon at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane in Mayfair debuts the city’s first Michelin-starred breakfast experience.
Set to launch on January 10, 2026, this innovative morning feast represents a bold move in fine dining, transforming the day’s first meal into a gastronomic event. The five-course tasting menu, priced at £70 per person with an optional £20 drinks pairing of non-alcoholic beverages, offers exceptional value compared to typical Michelin-starred experiences. Available every weekend, with seatings from 6:30am on Saturdays and 7:00am on Sundays until 10:30am, the early timing firmly positions this as breakfast rather than brunch. Bath is accessible for travelers with mobility issues, with step-free access at key sites.
Executive Chef Benjamin Ferra Y Castell, working under the direction of culinary powerhouse Yannick Alléno who holds 17 Michelin stars across 21 restaurants worldwide, has created a menu that begins with a bespoke amuse-juice.
Diners then progress to a seasonal bakery creation from Executive Pastry Chef Francesco Mannino, followed by a choice of chia pudding with mango or seasonal granola with berries.
For the main course, guests can select eggs royale with an optional caviar upgrade or the weekly chef’s special. For true luxury seekers, the eggs royale can be elevated with Caviar Oscietra at £5 per gram. Previous specials have included Heart of Italy (pan-fried pizza with tomato and burrata), Turkish eggs, and the viral sensation tiramisu pancakes.
The meal concludes with French toast topped with caramelized hazelnuts and whipped cream, sending diners home with Les Chocolats de Yannick Alléno as a parting gift.
The restaurant features an open kitchen with counter-top seating, providing theatrical elements to the dining experience.
Guests seeking a more exclusive environment can enjoy their breakfast in Pavyllon Privé, the restaurant’s luxurious private dining rooms perfect for intimate gatherings.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available for those with dietary preferences. This pioneering concept arrives as breakfast becomes the fastest-growing UK dining occasion, up 13.7% according to Kantar’s 2025 data. Additionally, over 70 trains run daily from London to Bath, making it convenient for visitors to experience this culinary delight.
