The restaurant’s name, “Bonheur,” means happiness in French and reflects Abé’s philosophy of creating an escapist dining experience. Russell Sage Studio designed the interior with Abé’s substantial input, featuring warm hues, yellow leather tabletops, and tactile horsehair wallpaper. The basement dining room exudes a rich, warm minimalism that stands in contrast to Le Gavroche’s former glossy aesthetic. Guests are welcomed into a plush lounge area adorned with cookbooks by culinary icons including Clare Smyth and Gordon Ramsay. The Journey offers five courses, while the Dream presents seven courses for those seeking the ultimate experience.
