A major Michael Jackson tribute show, “Can You Feel It,” will premiere in London on May 23, 2026, before commencing an extensive tour across seven Chinese cities beginning in July 2026.
The production will be directed and choreographed by Gary Lloyd, known for his work on successful shows like Heathers, Dirty Dancing, Joseph, and Thriller Live. This new tribute will feature a thorough two-hour celebration of hits spanning the 55-year musical history of Michael Jackson and The Jacksons.
Audiences can expect iconic songs including “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “Beat It,” “Billie Jean,” “Thriller,” and “Heal The World,” covering genres from pop to rock and soul to disco.
From pop to disco, the musical journey spans iconic hits like “Beat It,” “Billie Jean,” and “Thriller” that defined generations.
The Chinese leg of the tour will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Chengdu, bringing the Jackson legacy to fans across the country.
The creators of “Can You Feel It” previously produced the record-breaking “Thriller Live” tribute, which successfully toured the UK and China, including performances at the 1,200-seat Parisian Macao. That production blended traditional Chinese-costumed dance with modern performances, establishing a strong precedent for Jackson tributes in China.
China has embraced Jackson’s legacy through various tributes. In 2016, Chinese fans commemorated the seventh anniversary of Jackson’s passing by displaying his image on Shanghai’s largest outdoor LED screen at The Bund, with dancers synchronizing to Jackson videos on the CITIbank building skyline.
