As winter approaches, Rosewood London is transforming its elegant courtyard into a sophisticated alpine retreat from November 25, 2025, through February 2026. Located at 252 High Holborn, the daily experience will welcome guests from noon until 10 pm, offering an urban introduction to the hotel’s alpine hospitality concept ahead of its Courchevel property opening.
The terrace features a collaboration with Amsterdam-based luxury ski brand Goldbergh, whose Gold Exclusive collection influences both staff attire and the overall décor. The design incorporates wooden elements throughout the space, complemented by a warm neutral color palette with Goldbergh’s signature gold accents. Every detail reflects alpine-inspired sophistication to create an authentic mountain ambiance. Custom cushions and luxury blankets further enhance the contemporary ski chalet atmosphere. The Goldbergh Chalet perfectly merges high-performance skiwear with fashion elements to create a cohesive luxury experience.
The Singleton Single Malt Scotch Whisky partnership brings distinctive après-ski conviviality to the experience. Visitors can indulge in an exclusive Singleton 21-year serve ritual or explore creative cocktails like the I Shine Not Burn, which features Singleton 18-year with Oloroso, Madeira, Marsala, port, vermouth, and smoked moss. For warming comfort, Jock’s Well Hot Toddy combines Singleton 12-year with beurre noisette, chamomile, and heather honey. Guests can also savor The Sirens Song, which blends Singleton 12-year with chestnut and refreshing citrus notes for a balanced alpine-inspired libation.
The culinary journey begins with French onion soup or baked Camembert with confit garlic, walnut, honey, and thyme. Main courses include hearty Wine Braised Short Ribs and Tartiflette, a traditional potato gratin featuring Reblochon cheese and smoked bacon. The Chestnut Mont Blanc provides a sweet finale to this mountain-inspired dining experience.
This London terrace serves as a deliberate prelude to the Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, which opens on December 19, 2025. The connection extends beyond timing, as Goldbergh products will also be featured in Rosewood Courchevel’s ski boutique, creating a consistent luxury alpine narrative across both properties.
The alpine terrace experience represents Rosewood’s expanding focus on seasonal, immersive hospitality concepts that combine refined dining, thoughtful partnerships, and transportive environments—bringing a taste of mountain luxury to the heart of London.
